1. Description of Service
BANGER EDITS is an online platform that connects clients ("Clients") who need video editing, paid ad creative, graphic design, and AI-generated video services with independent video editors and creative professionals ("Editors"). We facilitate brief submission, editor matching, project management, payment processing, and review workflows.
We are not the producer of the creative work. Editors are independent contractors who perform services through the platform. BANGER EDITS provides the technology and infrastructure that enables the relationship.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
3. Accounts
3.1 Account creation
You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information up to date.
3.2 Account security
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [SUPPORT EMAIL] if you suspect unauthorized access.
3.3 Account types
- Client accounts — used to submit briefs, manage projects, and receive completed work.
- Editor accounts — used to accept jobs, deliver work, and receive payouts. Editor accounts are application-only and approved at our discretion.
- Admin accounts — internal use only.
A user may hold both a Client and Editor role on the same account.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Wallet model
Clients fund their account by topping up their wallet via Stripe. Wallet balances are credited in USD and may be used to pay for services on the platform. Wallet balance is non-transferable, non-refundable to cash (except where required by law or as set out in our Refund Policy), and has no monetary value outside the platform.
4.2 Tier pricing
Services are priced per banger at flat published rates (currently $75 Basic, $100 Great, $125 Banger, with similar tier structures for Paid Ads, Graphics, and AI Videos categories). Tier prices may change with notice; in-flight orders are locked at the price displayed at time of submission.
4.3 Subscription bundles
Optional monthly subscription bundles auto-deposit credit into your wallet with a bonus percentage. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
4.4 Stripe
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By using the Service, you agree to Stripe's terms of service available at stripe.com/legal. We do not store your full payment card information.
4.5 Taxes
Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for any taxes assessed on transactions, including VAT, GST, or sales tax where applicable.
5. Editor Services and Payouts
5.1 Independent contractors
Editors are independent contractors, not employees of BANGER EDITS. The relationship between Editors and BANGER EDITS, and between Editors and Clients, is that of independent contracting parties.
5.2 Editor payouts
Editors are paid via Stripe Connect upon a Client's approval of delivered work. Payout amounts and schedules are defined in the Editor's onboarding agreement and visible in their dashboard.
5.3 Platform fee
BANGER EDITS retains a platform fee on each completed transaction. The fee is disclosed during editor onboarding and at the time of job acceptance.
5.4 Disputes
If a Client disputes the quality of delivered work, the dispute is reviewed per our Dispute Policy. Editor payouts may be held during dispute resolution.
6. Client Responsibilities
By submitting a brief, you represent that:
- You own or have the right to use any footage, music, images, or other materials you provide.
- The content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- The content does not violate any applicable law, including but not limited to laws governing obscenity, defamation, hate speech, and the protection of minors.
- You will provide reasonable and timely feedback during the editing process.
You grant BANGER EDITS and assigned Editors a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, modify, and distribute your submitted materials solely for the purpose of completing the requested services.
7. Editor Responsibilities
By accepting a job, Editors agree to:
- Deliver work within the agreed turnaround time (currently 72 hours for all tiers).
- Maintain professional standards consistent with the tier purchased.
- Keep Client materials confidential and use them solely for the purpose of completing the assigned job.
- Not subcontract work without express written permission from BANGER EDITS.
- Comply with all applicable laws and our Editor Code of Conduct.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Client ownership of deliverables
Upon Client approval and full payment, all intellectual property rights in the finished deliverable are assigned to the Client. This is a work-for-hire arrangement to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8.2 BANGER EDITS platform IP
The Service, including all software, design, content, and branding, is owned by BANGER EDITS and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
8.3 Editor portfolio rights
Editors may include a watermark-free version of completed work in their professional portfolio, with the Client's name and identifying information anonymized unless the Client explicitly grants permission to be named.
8.4 BANGER EDITS portfolio rights
BANGER EDITS may use anonymized excerpts of completed work in our marketing, case studies, and promotional materials. Clients may opt out of this by contacting [SUPPORT EMAIL].
9. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to:
- Upload or commission content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, or violates the rights of others.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or data.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service without permission.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Use the Service to compete with BANGER EDITS or to recruit Editors off-platform.
- Circumvent platform fees by transacting with Editors outside the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules.
10. Termination
10.1 By you
You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Wallet balances are subject to our Refund Policy.
10.2 By us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or for any conduct we determine to be harmful to other users or the Service.
10.3 Effect of termination
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including IP ownership, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive termination.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
BANGER EDITS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DELIVERABLES WILL MEET ANY SPECIFIC SUBJECTIVE EXPECTATION.
WE VET EDITORS BUT CANNOT GUARANTEE THE QUALITY, ACCURACY, OR SUITABILITY OF ANY DELIVERABLE. CLIENT SATISFACTION IS ADDRESSED THROUGH OUR REVISION AND DISPUTE PROCESSES.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BANGER EDITS' TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO BANGER EDITS IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.
IN NO EVENT WILL BANGER EDITS BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, OR LOST DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BANGER EDITS and its affiliates, officers, employees, and Editors from any claim, demand, or damages arising from:
- Your use of the Service.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
- The content you submit or commission.
14. Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BANGER EDITS regarding the Service.
16.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
16.3 No waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
16.4 Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
